Panel discussion on gender-based violence and public policy, part of EQUALISE fundraising events for Edinburgh Women's Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre
As part of the EQUALISE event series, aiming to raise awareness and funds for EWRASAC (Edinburgh Women's Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre), we are holding a panel debate! This panel debate on how public policy can play a part in dealing with and combating gender-based violence is part of the EQUALISE series fundraising in aid of EWRASAC (The Edinburgh Women's Rape and Sexual Abuse Center). Alongside this debate, there is a film screening and discussion of "475: Break the Silence", a day of workshops (everything from dance classes to beginner's yoga, to knitting class to activist workshops) and a cabaret evening (with improv theater, comedy, salsa dance and west African music and dance).
