About this event

This May the Holyrood elections are taking place. This panel debate is your opportunity to hold Scotland's biggest political parties to account and and learn about the current state of Scottish policy on gender-based violence. This is part of Equalise Week fundraising in aid of the Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre and a fantastic opportunity to pressure our local politicans to go beyond words and take action! Panelists: Deborah Waters (RISE), Iain McGill (Conservative), Maggie Chapman (Greens), Catriona Headley (Labour), Hannah Bettsworth, (Liberal Democrats), Ben Macpherson (SNP), Emma Hutton (Women's Equality Party). Chair: Sarah Morton, Co-Director of the Center for Research on Families and Relationships Link to main EQUALISE WEEK 2016: https://www.facebook.com/events/566295176879521/ If you have a question you would like to ask the panel, you can write to us on our Facebook page or email: [email protected] A selection of the pre-submitted questions will be asked.
