About this event

Pollokshields Community Council is holding Glasgow's first community-led planning & design charrette this week. It's community-led because Glasgow City Council has not developed a Local Plan for us in ten years and could not schedule it before 2020. We will draft that Local Plan and submit to the Council following the charrette containing the community's view on what we need and want to make our area better. You can read about us at https://www.facebook.com/pollokshields/?ref=aymt_homepage_panel We plan a Feedback and Q&A public meeting on 20th March at 2pm when Nicola Sturgeon MSP, Alison Thewliss MP and the three local councillors will be questioned on the charrette's outcome. Venue at: 553 Shields Rd G41 2RW
